bad ass squall

I found the picture on a cover of a doujinshi called "gun Mania". I loved the art of it, so I decided to draw it. I loved the orginal line art. but Iam not so fond of the coloring. I love the backround and everything, but that stupid gunblade. I just don't think the gunblade turned out right. but i tried.

Tools: Mecanical pencil, paper, scanner, and Adobe photodeluxe....I don't have photoshop
